How to Get Here

Our Mexican base is located in beautiful San Juanico which is on the Pacific Coast in Baja Sur, about 700 miles south of Tijuana. It is 16-20 hours of active driving time from the international border and generally takes 1 – 3 days, depending on your route, vehicle, and pace.

Gas is available in larger towns and it’s always a good idea to fill your tank whenever possible when traveling in Baja.

Alternatively, Alaska Airlines offers flights to Loreto and Los Cabos from Los Angeles. Loreto is about 3-6 hours away, depending which way you go. Car rentals are available at the airport and there is currently 1 flight in and out per day. The Mexican airline Volaris flys to La Paz (about 6 hours away) from Tijuana and offers shuttle service over the border from San Diego to the Tijuana airport.

Buses are available to Loreto, Ciudad Constitucion, and La Paz from the Tijuana bus terminal every day of the week.

If you’re interested in coming to attend/volunteer a workshop and you need help with travel plans, please let us know and we will assist with directions, information, transportation, etc.
